			Sir Patrick Heron-Maxwell, 5th baronet
			From 'The Glasgow Herald' of 2 September 1844, reprinted from the 'Dumfries Standard':-
			'It is with feelings of the most painful regret that we record the sudden and melancholy death
			of Sir Patrick Maxwell, Bart., of Springkell, which took place on Tuesday morning, about nine
			o'clock. On Monday night, Sir Patrick was returning from Springkell, to Knockhill, where he was
			residing, when, on the road between Kittlebridge and Ecclefechan, either his horse had fallen
			with him, (which we are informed it had done a few days previous), or from some other cause
			not ascertained, he was thrown on the road, and received a severe injury, which rendered him
			insensible. He was shortly after found and carried to the farm-house of Caldwellknow, where
			medical aid was procured, and every available means had recourse to, in order to effect his
			recovery, but all to no avail, as he gradually sank till next morning he expired.'
			Sir Andrew Ashton Waller Hills, 1st and only baronet
			Sir Andrew was created a baronet at the age of only 5 years and 3 months in 1939. He was
			the son of John Waller Hills (1867-1938) who had been MP for Durham City 1906-1922 and
			Ripon 1925-1938. John Waller Hills died on 24 December 1938, just prior to the 1939 New
			Year's Honours List in which he would have been created a baronet had he lived. His son was
			therefore created a baronet in his place, and Sir Andrew's mother was granted the style of
			a baronet's widow.
